Dive into the world of robotics with VEX IQ! In this hands-on course, students will design, build, and program robots to complete exciting challenges. Through teamwork and problem-solving, participants will develop computational thinking and programming concepts in a fun and competitive environment. VEX IQ is based on plastic, snap-together pieces specifically designed to build highly functional robots. Students learn to program their VEX IQ robots using VEXcode, which offers both block-based and Python coding options. They can also participate in VEX IQ Robotics Competitions (VIQRC) where teams design and build robots to compete in game-based challenges. Recommended for: Grades 5-8
